Our client, a fast-growing, privately held provider of advanced downhole production solutions in unconventional oil and gas wells is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Account Manager dedicated to building strong relationships and turning them into successful partnerships. Leveraging dynamic growth over the last six years, the Account Manager will be the bridge between our client and their ever-expanding network of Operator customers in the Permian Basin.

A role blending both Account Management and Business Development, the right candidate will wear the many hats of a strategic thinker, a door opener, a relationship builder, and a closer extraordinaire. This is a role for a problem solver who partners with both current and new customers to help them identify their needs and aid them in determining the proper solution and successful use of our clients’ products. The ideal candidate is an experienced oilfield sales professional with a track record of thriving in a similar role, or a Production Engineer from the Operator space with strong applications experience who is ready to put their knowledge to work growing business while helping producers across the basin solve their production challenges.

This is an opportunity to work with the technical quality of a leading oilfield services company, but in a smaller, rapidly growing organization without the large company bureaucracy where the focus is on listening to customers to drive product development and maintaining a relentless pursuit of excellent customer service.

THE ORGANIZATION

Based in Houston, TX with 100 employees and a network of service technicians across US oilfields, our client, Oil Tool Solutions, better known in the market as “HULK”, is a passionate group of designers, engineers, and innovators dedicated to creating advanced cable protection systems for the production sector.From ESP cross-coupling systems to downhole tools, Hulk exists to provide solutions that keep their clients’ operations running smoothly.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Growing the customer base: Strategically develop alliances with potential and existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and profitability
  • Relationship Rockstar: Become a trusted advisor by building and maintaining strong relationships with all levels of your client organizations
  • Hit Your Targets: Develop data-driven approaches to achieve your assigned sales quotas and contribute to HULK's overall growth
  • Opportunity Hunter: Sharpen your eagle eyes to identify new sales opportunities across product lines and transform leads into loyal customers
  • Solution Architect: Uncover your customers' challenges and propose effective solutions from OTS's innovative product portfolio
  • Team Player: Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams (supply chain, engineering, finance) to deliver exceptional solutions for clients
  • Hit the Road: Travel to customer locations to foster strong connections and close deals.
  • Oil & Gas Knowledgeable: A minimum of 3 years in operations/sales or 3 years in oil & gas production experience
  • Technical Sales Savvy: Experience uncovering customer challenges and selling technical products as the solution
  • A Lead Generation and Management Pro: You have a knack for turning leads into opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
  • A Bridge Builder: You excel at building strong, lasting relationships with both internal and external customers
  • An Influencer with a capital "I": Your influence and persuasion skills are top-notch, allowing you to present and close deals effectively
  • A Strong Communicator: You possess strong written and verbal communication skills to connect with a diverse audience
