Job summary

First Search Inc. is seeking a licensed Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our benefits team.

You will service group benefits accounts, support clients with health and life insurance needs, and build strong relationships with employers, carriers, and internal teams. The role requires an active Life & Health Insurance license, 1+ year of benefits servicing experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; HubSpot experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health Insurance license required.
• 1+ years of experience in an employee benefits account management or servicing role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HubSpot CRM or ticketing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned employee benefits accounts, including renewals, enrollments, terminations, and ongoing plan administration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of plan documents, communications, and required updates.
• Coordinate with multiple insurance carriers and TPAs to resolve issues and ensure smooth policy issuance and renewals.
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and guide employees through claims-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and client records within the agency management system.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and employee benefits product offerings.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a high level of client service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned employee benefits accounts, including renewals, enrollments, terminations, and ongoing plan administration
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, carriers, and internal teams
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of plan documents, communications, and required updates
• Coordinate with multiple insurance carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs) to resolve issues and ensure smooth policy issuance and renewals
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and guide employees through claims-related inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and client records within the agency management system
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and employee benefits product offerings
