SUMMARY
As an Account Manager you will play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales process
Duties Or Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the technical specifications, features, and applications of the products or services offered.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
- Translate technical information into compelling value propositions for customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
- Address customer inquiries and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
- Build rapport and establish credibility with customers by demonstrating technical expertise and understanding of their requirements.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions based on customer specifications.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Assist in preparing sales quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and negotiate terms to close deals.
- Provide input on product positioning and differentiation based on technical features and customer feedback.
- Serve as a resource for customers to address technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve product-related challenges.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to elevate and resolve complex technical issues as needed.
- Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
