Job summary

Lighthouse Insurance Agency in Fairfield, OH is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to manage a book of personal auto, home, and umbrella accounts in our Fairfield, OH office. You’ll be the trusted client contact, ensuring renewals, endorsements, and carrier relationships run smoothly.

You’ll help clients with coverage gaps, claims support, and cross-sell opportunities, while maintaining accurate records and timely communication with clients and carriers.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Property & Casualty license required.
• 1+ year of personal lines account management or CSR experience.
• Working knowledge of personal lines carriers, coverage forms, and rating factors.
• Strong attention to detail — role involves policy documents and nuances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, client-first tone.

Responsibilities

• Care for an assigned book of personal lines clients, handling policy changes, endorsements, and coverage questions.
• Proactively manage the renewal cycle — review coverage gaps, rate changes, and reach out before issues arise.
• Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of coverage as needed.
• Guide clients through claims intake and the first steps after a loss.
• Identify and act on cross-sell and account-rounding opportunities (auto, home, umbrella, life).
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
• Communicate promptly across phone, email, and text — many clients expect same-day responses.
• Partner with producers and underwriters to resolve issues quickly.
• Mentor newer team members as the agency grows.
• Maintain full compliance with agency documentation standards on every account touch.

This role is for someone who already knows the rhythm of personal lines servicing — renewals, endorsements, claims support, carrier relationships — and is ready to run with an established book from day one with minimal ramp-up.

You’ll be the client's trusted point of contact and the reason they stay with Lighthouse year after year. Requirements

Active Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license required

1+ year of personal lines account management or CSR experience required

Working knowledge of personal lines carriers, coverage forms, and rating factors

Strong attention to detail — this role involves policy documents and coverage nuances where accuracy matters

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a genuine, client-first tone

Proven ability to manage a high volume of client interactions while staying organized under pressure

Experience with agency management systems (AMS360, EPIC, Momentum/NowCerts, or similar) preferred

A team-oriented mindset with the confidence to work independently

High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus
