Summary of Position:

The Account Manager acts as a liaison between our company and customers, maintaining and developing their account base. This role handles private label and branded products, offering expert guidance, solutions, and initiatives to foster business growth.

Functions of the Position:

  • Maintains and manages business relationships, ensuring effective day-to-day communication with customers and brokers.
  • Identifies business opportunities and risks, and lead business development functions.
  • Creates and leads presentations, manage customer and third-party portals, and support Business Managers and/or Sales Director.
  • Tracks and analyzes sales data, develop annual plans, and manage customer forecasts.
  • Leads and monitors broker management and cross-functional project coordination.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Conducts on-site visits to customers.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or account management, preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Demonstrated success in customer communication and collaboration with external business partners.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism and focus in all interactions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing accounts and documentation.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and brokers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of efficiently troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Proficient in tracking and analyzing sales data, developing annual plans, and managing customer forecasts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to navigate and self-teach within customer portals.
