Qualifications

Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for client relationship management by cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with national accounts to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
  • Drive revenue growth and account expansion by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursuing new client relationships to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead sales execution and deal closure by managing the full sales cycle-from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract finalization-ensuring a smooth and successful client experience.
  • Apply a solution-oriented sales approach by translating complex client needs into tailored offerings, using technical expertise and business insight to position solutions effectively.
  • Maintain consistent client communication and reporting by providing regular updates, managing expectations, and proactively addressing potential risks or market challenges.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration by working closely with internal teams- such as Contracts, Finance, and Operations- to support seamless onboarding and effective service delivery.
  • Leverage market and client insight by staying informed on industry trends and client business priorities to provide strategic guidance and deliver added value.
  • Demonstrate strong sales performance and target achievement by consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and execution.
  • Manage proposal and quote development by preparing accurate, compelling proposals, responding to RFPs, and delivering all client-facing documentation professionally and on time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Combination of office-based and on-site client work, which may require periodic travel by air or vehicle to customer locations, job is primarily office based
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
PLANNED BUSINESS TRAVEL
  • This job requires 25% planned business travel (client site quarterly reviews, etc.).
Education And Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is preferred. A relevant advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record managing national or enterprise-level accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and client retention in complex, high-value environments.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as Finance, Contracts, and Operations to support seamless onboarding and account management.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office 365 to manage sales pipelines, client communications, and reporting.
