The Account Manager at SaltedStone is a consultant, working directly with Strategists and subject matter experts to manage client relationships, define requirements and timelines, and skillfully lead engagements. You will manage a select group of clients, acting as their dedicated liaison and ensuring every project is delivered with precision.
From crafting impactful client communications to leading retainer renewal discussions, you play a key role in driving client satisfaction and revenue growth. You’ll be leading the way to efficient project management, ensuring engagements stay on time and on budget. But it’s not just about managing engagements — it’s about being part of a team that is dedicated to client success. Your recommendations will shape ongoing campaigns, and your keen insights will identify opportunities for account expansion.
In your new role as an Account Manager, you’ll get to:
- Manage a roster of approximately 8-12 clients
- Effectively manage the onboarding/kickoff of clients
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and our internal teams regarding timelines, budgets, progress, etc.
- Prepare account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, reports, emails, proposals, and other client communications
- Triage all incoming support requests from clients via email, calls, or our support ticketing platform
- Prepare production plans based on contracted budgets and timelines
- Create and manage tasks in the project management tool, tracking progress through completion stages
- Perform meticulous quality checks and testing on project and campaign deliverables
- Track and report on engagement budgets and client health weekly
- Ensure CRM records are updated weekly
- Create and maintain milestone records to forecast client revenue and ensure invoices are sent according to the payment schedule
- Provide recommendations to improve ongoing marketing campaigns and digital projects
- Lead retainer renewal conversations to ensure retainers do not lapse
- Identify account retention and expansion opportunities and lead discussions with clients about these
- Work with subject matter experts to scope out new engagement opportunities
- Advance your HubSpot expertise through ongoing training and handling platform tasks independently
- Identify areas of specialization based on your strengths and experience
- Own low-difficulty client tasks, ensuring timely delivery and quality, with support from senior team members as needed
- Apply your growing HubSpot skills to proactively address client challenges and increase satisfaction
We’re looking for someone who has:
- BA or BS degree in communications, marketing, or business
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess issues creatively and consult on solutions
- Confidence in advising clients and leading sales discussions
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfort in working within budgets
- Proven HubSpot experience
- Experience with teamwork.com

The salary range for this position is $76,000 to $90,566, depending on skills and experience.
