Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Account Development Representative to initiate and manage customer relationships and drive sales growth across target accounts. You will perform face-to-face store visits, phone outreach, and organize targeted selling events to expand new and incremental business.

Major responsibilities include prospecting, building client relationships, and supporting pricing and promotions while coordinating with sales and marketing.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with the Target Account list.
• conduct phone contacts and organize targeted selling events.
• Develop strategy to grow sales and profits with key and existing customers.
• Build relationships with customers and understand their business needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to support solutions for customers.
• Prepare sales contracts for orders and coordinate with marketing programs.
• Visit clients to evaluate needs and promote products and services.
• Maintain client records and answer questions about terms and pricing.
