Job summary

Merkle Science, headquartered in New York with offices worldwide, seeks a dynamic Sales Lead to drive the US expansion for our investigations product. You will work with sales support and marketing to develop client-centric solutions for State and Local law enforcement and other government entities.

You will design compelling proposals, generate leads, and manage relationships while meeting a monthly quota. A proven sales track record and resilience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and able to communicate with government customers.
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience, preferably in startups or boutique firms.
• Proven sales track record and ability to manage relationships.
• Creative problem solver with results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion into the US region for our investigations product.
• Collaborate with sales support and marketing teams.

What will you do?

• Be Part of the initial team in USA and will lead strategic expansion into the US region.


• Work closely with other business services support groups, including sales support and marketing personnel


• Conduct sales needs analysis with new and prospective customers, including the development of client‑centric product solutions.


• Be responsible for achieving a monthly unit quota in sales across our investigations product for State and Local law enforcement agencies and other government entities charged with investigating or prosecuting crypto‑related crime.


• Design, develop, and deliver sales proposals and presentations on product benefits


• Self‑generate leads by contacting prospective clients by telephone, cold call premise visits, networking, and industry events.


• Maintain all sales databases necessary to report sales activity and customer information.


• Attend all sales meetings and training sessions as required by management.

• Fluent in English


• At least 4+ years of prior sales experience


• Prior startup experience or experience at a boutique firm is a big plus


• Previous investigations/local government/blockchain experience is a big plus


• Proven sales track record
