The Account Executive, Sports role is tasked with maintaining, building, and exceeding advertising revenue goals across both the linear and digital sports portfolio. Successful candidates will also demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment within a dynamic setting to achieve results and overcome industry challenges.
This is an onsite position, based out of our New York, NY office.
Develop, maintain, and nourish client relationships with both media buying community and media clients by conducting a high volume of calls and meetings.
Manage existing and identify new business within a specific Holdco.
Develop account and Holdco strategies for long‑term development and revenue growth.
Act as a sports business specialist on behalf of your clients, strategically developing convergent media solutions tailored to their objectives.
Prioritize and lead efforts to ensure precise account management both internally and externally.
Collaborate with Holdco counterparts to develop strategic roadmaps and generate revenue across the portfolio.
Establish oneself as a thought leader within the sports community and speak on Paramount’s unique position within the sports marketplace.
Ensure that you stay ahead of marketplace trends related to clients as well as in the sports business industry.
Manage, train, and develop the dedicated IPG account manager, sales planner, and sales associate to help them flourish in their roles and continue to be impactful contributors to team the sports team.
Travel as necessary to support client relationships, meetings, and business needs.
5+ years proven advertising sports sales experience.
Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Have a deep desire to win and grow as a convergent media sales professional.
Remarkable communication and organizational skills.
Extraordinary time management skills to meet deadlines.
Have great balancing and coping skills while prioritizing multiple account challenges simultaneously.
BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience.
Must be extremely detailed oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, G Suite and Salesforce.

Hiring Salary Range: $93,000.00 - 150,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
