Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Sales role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious, driven sales professionals passionate about building stellar customer relationships and promoting T-Mobile's unmatched products and services to underserved markets.

This is a true hunter role where you can exceed sales quotas, acquire new accounts, and revolutionize the wireless industry with small and medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees). In this role, you'll achieve and surpass monthly sales targets through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads within an assigned geographic territory. You'll analyze customer needs, use solution-based selling to demonstrate T-Mobile's value, tailor recommendations, and close deals.

While this position is remote, only candidates located in Wisconsin will be considered.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation: Generate and work leads via prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
  2. Customer Needs: Identify customer needs, demonstrate T-Mobile’s value through solution-based selling, and recommend wireless solutions including plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
  3. Present and close deals.
  4. Skill Development: Develop prospecting, call execution, and relationship management skills through participation in product training and sales meetings.
  5. Sales Approaches: Build effective sales strategies, solutions, and proposals.
  6. Sales Automation: Utilize CRM systems like Salesforce to manage sales activities, lead funnels, and report on sales forecasts.
  7. Customer Base: Maintain and grow the customer base within your territory.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment (Preferred)
  • Outside B2B sales experience (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Task Management: Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-changing environment (Required)
  • Customer Service: Proven experience delivering superior customer service with attention to detail (Required)
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Required)
  • Presentation and Closing Skills: Strong skills in communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving (Required)
  • Cold Calling: Ability to cold call/door knock (Preferred)
  • Prospect Management: Experience in nurturing leads from initial contact to conversion (Preferred)
  • CRM Experience: Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce (Preferred)
  • Proposal Writing: Experience preparing and following up on proposals and quotations (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

Target total cash pay range: $71,800 - $129,400, including incentives. Base pay range: $43,080 - $77,640. Actual pay varies based on location, qualifications, and experience. For specific pay based on your location, visit this link.
