Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Sales at T-Mobile is for ambitious sales professionals passionate about building customer relationships and promoting T-Mobile's products in underserved markets. This is a hunter role focused on exceeding sales quotas, acquiring new accounts, and serving small to medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees).

Job Responsibilities
  • Generate leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under supervision.
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate T-Mobile’s value with tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, relationship management, and product knowledge through training and meetings.
  • Create sales approaches, proposals, and manage sales activities using automation tools.
  • Maintain and grow the customer base within your territory.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • At least 1 year of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment.
  • Experience in outside B2B sales is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Superior customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective negotiation and closing skills.
  • Cold calling and prospect management experience preferred.
  • CRM experience, such as Salesforce, preferred.
  • Proposal writing skills preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Travel required.
  • Base pay ranges from $43,080 to $77,640; total target cash pay ranges from $71,800 to $129,400.
