Job Title: Account Executive – RFS

The Account Executive – RFS will be responsible for existing account management activities and new account sales. The AE will identify and develop new customer business for Ryder Fuel Services (RFS) in collaboration with RFS management. Responsibilities include research and prospecting of new customers, developing an industry network, educating prospects on RFS services, supporting existing customer service and marketing efforts, and understanding competitive influences and risks.

Essential Functions
  1. Sales Activity: Represent RFS services, collaborate with management, accounting, and operations to facilitate contracts, close deals, and support RFS growth. Interface with Ryder Sales Teams to identify synergies.
  2. Customer Experience: Work with RFS team to increase supplemental sales, build relationships with stakeholders, leverage resources to expand opportunities, support onboarding and customer orientation.
  3. Business Development: Identify prospects, understand customer needs, prepare value-based proposals, develop sales plans to meet revenue targets, respond to leads, and align messaging.
  4. Administrative Support: Maintain account profiles, facilitate marketing and educational efforts, support sales progress, and handle necessary administrative functions.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance sales skills, industry knowledge, and personal growth needs.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Understand customization of RFS solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Adhere to Ryder’s policies, including Travel and Expense Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
