Your Impact

As an Account Manager at Cisco, you'll manage a growth target for an assigned territory using a channel go-to-market distribution model. You will target market opportunities by segment and use available resources to pursue opportunities aggressively while demonstrating sales penetration within a target account list. You will have a "hunter" mentality, exhibit strategic sales savvy, and build strong relationships with customers. Selling in a matrixed environment, you'll prioritize a customer-first approach to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Grow the company's revenue by identifying new sales opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions to improve customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Engage in strategic account planning and execution to enhance Cisco's visibility and reputation in the market.
  • Serve as a vital link between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet client objectives.
  • Provide insights from customer interactions and market trends to contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in selling, prospecting, and growing an account base.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven success in leading a large territory, demand generation, partner development, strategic account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, and communicating business solutions via sales presentations across short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to deliver business value to both End Users and Partners.
  • Strong technical and business knowledge to understand customer drivers and align them with Cisco solutions.
  • Skills to negotiate issues using a Win/Win philosophy.
  • Ambitious self-starter capable of articulating Cisco product and business strategies and creating demand to close deals.
  • Traits including passion, integrity, trust, leadership, discipline, and execution.
