Account Executive, PerfectScale by DoiT- US West

Location: Ideally based on the West Coast or in Mountain Standard Time. This is a fully remote opportunity with travel as needed.

The Role

As an Account Executive for PerfectScale, you will utilize best-in-class sales strategies to generate pipeline, manage deals, present solutions, negotiate, and close sales, focusing on enterprise and mid-market prospects with Kubernetes and cloud-native investments. You will promote our proprietary Kubernetes optimization technology and guide organizations through the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales and pipeline targets while providing excellent customer experience
  • Create a territory sales plan for Kubernetes optimization solutions
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineering to conduct solution-focused sales conversations
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and lead customers through the sales cycle
  • Refine the sales process to reduce friction and accelerate adoption
  • Contribute to territory strategy for business growth
  • Understand complex customer requirements on both technical and business levels
  • Work with marketing on pipeline campaigns and capture customer feedback
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience with a proven track record
  • Technical knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native tech, and DevOps
  • Strong self-discipline, accurate forecasting, and CRM skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, independence, creativity, and approachability
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, confident, and persistent
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to see the big picture
  • Flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
