Account Executive, PerfectScale by DoiT- US West

Location: We are looking to hire an Account Executive ideally based on the West Coast or in Mountain Standard time. This is a fully remote opportunity with travel as needed.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive for PerfectScale, you will generate pipeline, manage deals, pitch solutions, negotiate, and close sales to drive growth across enterprise and mid-market prospects with Kubernetes and cloud-native investments. You will champion our proprietary technology and help organizations transform their cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales and pipeline goals while providing excellent customer experience
  • Create a territory sales plan for Kubernetes optimization technology
  • Partner with Solution Engineering to drive solution-focused sales conversations
  • Manage business development, forecast accurately, and lead customers through the sales cycle
  • Refine the sales process to reduce friction and accelerate adoption
  • Contribute to territory strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Understand complex customer requirements on business and technical levels
  • Collaborate with marketing on pipeline campaigns and capture customer voice
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in B2B SaaS with a strong record of meeting/exceeding quotas
  • Technical background in Kubernetes, cloud-native tech, and DevOps
  • Strong self-discipline, accurate forecasting, and CRM skills
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, independent, creative, and approachable
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, confident, thorough, and tenacious
  • Data-driven, detail-oriented, with ability to see the big picture
  • Flexible in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
