Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company in New Jersey seeks a seasoned sales professional to drive OEM and kitting opportunities within Bard Peripheral Vascular. You will build strategic relationships, tailor solutions, and close deals.

You will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and marketing, travel up to 50% to customer sites and industry events, and report on forecasts and pipelines while striving to exceed quotas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful medical device sales, preferably OEM-focused.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Knowledge of FDA/ISO regulatory requirements and quality systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Job Summary

Responsible for driving sales and market share growth for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and kitting solutions within BD/Bard Peripheral Vascular, Inc. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and close new OEM and kitting business opportunities, meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at existing and potential customer accounts.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements thoroughly to propose and develop tailored OEM/kitting solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and marketing, to ensure successful product development, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales activities and pipeline status.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and other relevant events to promote Bard Peripheral Vascular's OEM/kitting capabilities.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to post-sales support.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably within the medical device industry, with a strong focus on OEM sales, kitting, or contract manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO), and quality systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently, potentially up to 50%, to customer sites and industry events.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Salary

$218,000 - $360,000 (Range reflects total compensation which includes base salary, annual sales target, and other sales incentives)

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
