We help people live full and healthy lives through our accessible, molecular-based solutions. The Molecular Account Executive is a field sales role responsible for covering Georgia and Alabama. This position is part of the Molecular Diagnostic Division, which sells the Alinity M and reagents to various healthcare facilities, including hospitals, IDNs, reference labs, and women's health offices. This is a strategic sales professional role highly skilled at driving exponential growth with new business, operating as the primary account customer contact with a focus on menu expansion to improve economic profitability and increase customer loyalty for existing business retention via contract renewal. Responsibilities include working across multiple stakeholders including c-suite, expediting complex decisions to quick wins; managing and driving new and continued development of accounts according to strategic plan; developing and deploying best practices; identifying new customer insights to drive business; business planning and prioritization; leveraging cross-functional teams and resources; developing trust and partnership with customers by understanding their needs and bringing win-win solutions; anticipating sales shortfalls and implementing contingency plans; managing complex longer-term capital sales cycles. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 2-5 years sales experience in molecular, diagnostics, core laboratory, point of care, or medical device capital equipment industry, computer skills (MS Office), valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel 50-75% in assigned territory and other US locations. Preferred qualifications include strong business planning, Microsoft Office and CRM skills, commitment to customers, logical decision-making, proper call documentation, effective communication, persuasion skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to learn technical and scientific knowledge for selling.
