Responsibilities
- Sales & Market Engagement
- Demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals and maintain long‑term relationships.
- Deep understanding of the K‑12 education landscape, including school district buying cycles, curriculum initiatives, and funding models.
- Familiarity with STEM, science/math education, and career and technical education is highly desirable.
- Communication & Presentation
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
- Deliver engaging, informative presentations to diverse audiences both virtually and in person.
- Account & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to support long‑term success.
- Manage existing accounts while prospecting for new opportunities aligned with company goals.
- Execute sales strategies tailored to regional and organizational objectives.
- Work independently and resourcefully to identify market opportunities and respond to client needs.
- Technical Proficiency
- Utilize CRM tools and digital platforms to manage pipeline activity, sales metrics, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CSA, CRM) in sales or account management are valued.
- Prior experience as an educator, administrator, curriculum coordinator, or in ed‑tech or educational sales is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in K‑12 education or ed‑tech sales.
- Understanding of coding, robotics, and STEM concepts is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales goals, or, in an educational context, evidence of results‑driven impact.
Additional Requirements
- Travel: Up to 50% within assigned territory.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to navigate diverse environments with sensitivity to district priorities and established educational standards.
- Candidate must reside in the Mid‑Atlantic USA.
