Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a Account Executive, Laboratory Services for a growing laboratory team in Vancouver, WA.

Position Overview

Responsible for all sales activities, including expanding current business, securing new clients, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory. Collaborate with sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue goals, and long-term account objectives aligned with company values.

Innovators in precision laboratory diagnostics, dedicated to improving accessibility through technology, logistics, and research. They aim to eliminate barriers—geographic, financial, and social—by pioneering distribution and specimen collection methods, enhancing healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets quarterly and annually, as set by the Business Development Director.
  • Target customers such as substance abuse centers, opioid treatment centers, pain management clinics, urology, OBGYN, and infectious disease specialists.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships within the territory.
  • Partner with the Business Development Director to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Present marketing and clinical materials as provided during training or directed by supervisors.
  • Utilize HubSpot to manage customer pipelines, track sales activities, and generate leads through prospecting, cold calling, and in-person meetings (aiming for 10-15 calls daily).
  • Manage expenses within budget, requesting approval for expenses exceeding per-diem or guidelines.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments involved in the sales cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies, including training participation.
  • Develop and report on sales plans, including product, customer, and payor mix strategies.
  • Organize key events, sales calls, trade shows, and special events, including coordinating physician speakers.
  • Communicate professionally via email, phone, and other media, prioritizing company interests.
  • Manage time effectively in a limited supervision environment to achieve goals.
  • Adhere to legal and ethical standards related to medical and life sciences products, including Stark and Anti-Kickback regulations.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least five years of direct sales experience in medical or life sciences products/services to healthcare providers.
  • Minimum of two years selling pharmacogenetic (PGx) and/or toxicology laboratory testing services to physicians and healthcare practitioners.
  • Experience with medical documentation supporting insurance claims is preferred.
  • Remote work with some travel required.
  • Salary range: $75K–$115K with potential On-Target Earnings over $200K.
