Role Overview: Account Executive

Are you experienced in working with prospects and guiding them through the sales process? Do clients see you as their "go-to person"? If you're a seasoned SaaS sales professional who cares about helping others succeed, this role might be your next career move. You will handle inbound opportunities in the small to medium business space, assisting prospects through the sales funnel, building relationships, and closing contracts.

In this fast-paced, team-oriented role, you will collaborate with the sales operations team to drive success and strengthen our business and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contact prospects via phone, email, or face-to-face to complete sales.
  2. Collaborate with support and technology teams to become an expert in Absorb LMS and the learning management landscape.
  3. Demonstrate Absorb LMS functionality and provide pricing options.
  4. Present quotes and forward order forms internally for approval.
  5. Assist with Accounts Receivable collections if necessary.
  6. Maintain and develop customer relationships through support and liaison with internal staff.
  7. Use contact management tools to update relevant information.
  8. Monitor market and competitor activities, providing relevant reports.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 2-3 years experience in B2B SaaS/software sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Strong phone presence and experience with multiple calls and meetings daily.
  • Proficiency with productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or Psychology (asset, not required).
  • Experience with Salesforce.
