Job Description
Location: US West Region (Remote)
Reports To: Senior Director, Enterprise Sales
As a Hitachi Solutions Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing your market by participating in all phases of customer engagement. This role focuses on expanding sales within all Microsoft solution areas, including Business Applications (Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Customer Insights) and Azure (Data and Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, Modern Solutions). The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of building productive relationships within a diverse customer base.

You Will Focus On
  • Driving and managing the sales cycle from opportunity creation to closure.
  • Leading activities, managing communication, and collaborating with team members including sales specialists, pre-sales engineers, and leadership.
  • Developing strategic account, territory, and opportunity plans to meet objectives.
  • Building relationships with Microsoft field teams to identify, qualify, and co-sell leads.
  • Supporting marketing and lead generation activities, including webinars, industry events, and direct outreach.
  • Maintaining relationships with key contacts within target accounts.
  • Managing and forecasting business activities regularly.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in selling strategic technology solutions; Microsoft experience a plus.
  • Proven success in selling technical services leveraging on-premise and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft stack products like Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, SQL, IoT, AI/ML, and Modern Solutions is advantageous.
  • Strong relationships with Microsoft account teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively.
