This position would cover the territories of Kentucky, West Virginia and Southern Ohio.

Pay Range: $110,000- $122,400 Base plus Bonus
Shifts Available and Hours: Dayshift
Job Summary:

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for growing market share through existing and new customers within an assigned territory with a very strong concentration on selling the value-added services including fabrication and finishing. Primary account development responsibility will involve the Hydro network for non-automotive applications. This position reports directly to a Sales Manager.

Required Education/Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, account management and strategy development.
  • Education Related marketing or business degree or equivalent in education or experience.
  • Technical knowledge, experience and skills in pricing, negotiation and contracts within the aluminum extrusion industry are required.
  • Experience in sales account management and building customer relationships.
  • Must be able to interface effectively with manufacturing and sales colleagues to coordinate, develop, and close on commercial sales opportunities.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Sound knowledge, experience and skills in pricing, negotiation and contracts are required.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Sales or Business Preferred.
  • Functional Knowledge- Experience in sales account management and building customer relationships.
  • Industry Experience- Hands on “distribution” experience and soft-alloy aluminum extrusion industry are preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct primary sales account interface, administration, and communication with customers; represent the Company to the customer base.
  • Develop customer relationships to enhance customer retention and market share growth.
  • Conduct distribution sales activities in a manner consistent with the Company’s distribution strategy and Company values, and compliant with established Company policies andprocedures.
  • Establish, maintain and work a new business pipeline to identify and develop distribution business development opportunities within existing and new customers.
  • Perform forecasting, analyses, reports, inquiries and general intelligence efforts as required to develop, maintain and utilize superior customer / market knowledge to enable implementation of sound sales approaches and actions.
  • 50- 75% travel time is required.
