Role Description
The Yelp Emerging Accounts, Account Executive works with multi-location prospective clients to sell Yelp’s diverse advertising solutions. This role focuses on driving new business, guiding prospects through the entire sales cycle from outreach to close. Success requires experience using activity metrics to achieve ambitious sales goals. This is a high-energy, new-business-focused position that requires a strategic sales approach. The role has a significant impact on Yelp’s growth, with a focus on this client base.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect within a dedicated list of new business accounts aligned with Yelp's advertising solutions.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Map new client organizations and establish relationships with multiple contacts, focusing on engaging key decision-makers.
  • Understand prospective clients' business objectives and challenges, and align them with Yelp’s advertising solutions to help achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with new clients to develop local strategies utilizing Yelp’s branding, search campaigns, and engagement tools.
  • Identify budgets within client organizations dedicated to in-store sales and digital conversions for new campaigns.
  • Partner with Yelp’s Client Partner teams to ensure a smooth post-sale client experience.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of experience in B2B sales, selling to Mid Market, Regional, or Multi-Location businesses.
  • Success in solution-based sales roles (Digital Advertising, Media, SaaS preferred).
  • Ability to use performance metrics to assess and strategize sales activities.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in sales tools and CRM software.
  • Effective communication with C-level decision-makers and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing and closing sales deals valued at $20K or more.
  • Proven ability to manage sales pipelines, prioritize opportunities, and analyze trends.
  • Coachability, self-motivation, and teamwork skills demonstrated through past experiences.
