The Yelp Emerging Accounts, Account Executive works with multi-location prospective clients to sell Yelp’s diverse advertising solutions. You will focus on driving new business, guiding prospects through the entire sales cycle from outreach to close. Success requires experience in using activity metrics to achieve ambitious sales goals. This is a high-energy, new-business-focused position that requires a strategic sales approach. You will play a crucial role in Yelp’s growth, with significant impact expected from this client base.

What You'll Do
  • Prospect within a dedicated list of new business accounts aligned with Yelp's advertising solutions.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Map new client organizations and establish relationships with multiple contacts, focusing on decision-makers.
  • Understand prospective clients’ business objectives and challenges, aligning them with Yelp’s advertising solutions.
  • Collaborate with new clients to develop local strategies using Yelp’s branding, search campaigns, and engagement tools.
  • Identify budgets within client organizations dedicated to in-store sales and digital conversions.
  • Ensure a strong client handoff with Yelp’s Client Partner teams post-sale.
What It Takes To Succeed
  • At least 4 years of experience in B2B new business sales, preferably in digital advertising, media, or SaaS.
  • Proven success in solution-based sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics and sales strategies.
  • Proficiency with sales tools and CRM software.
  • Ability to engage effectively with C-level decision-makers.
  • Experience managing and closing deals valued at $20K or more.
  • Strong pipeline management skills, prioritization, and trend analysis.
  • Coachability, self-motivation, and team collaboration skills.
