As an Account Executive, you will sell AI-powered local marketing SaaS as the first dedicated closing role in the United States. You will sell an AI-powered all-in-one local marketing platform that helps multi-location SMBs manage listings, reputation, and social media from a single tool. You will receive warm, BDR-qualified leads and own the full closing motion: discovery, live online demo, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution. Most of your pipeline will come from the two in-house BDRs who handle cold outreach and qualification—you are the closer. You may also self-source additional pipeline when BDR volume requires it. You will sell primarily to business owners, office managers, and senior leadership at multi-location SMBs across verticals including med spas, dental and medical offices, restaurants, retail, and professional services. Year 1 is 100% new business development. Leads are primarily warm and BDR-qualified. Selling is conducted by phone and video (online demos); in-person client visits are not a standard requirement for this role. The territory is the entire United States with no geographic sub-boundaries. This is a newly created seat — the first AE hire in the US. The confirmed base salary is $85,000 plus uncapped monthly commissions and a quarterly performance bonus.

- You have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a closing or Account Executive capacity — demonstrated full-cycle closing ability (discovery, demo, proposal, contract) is required
- Career progression from a BDR or SDR role into an AE role is strongly preferred — a clear track record of earning your way into a closing seat matters here

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION
You will sell an AI-powered, all‑in‑one local marketing platform built for multi‑location SMBs. The platform consolidates four core capabilities into a single tool:
- Listings Management: Accurate and consistent business presence across Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, and 80+ local directories and platforms
- Reputation Management: Review generation, monitoring, and ratings improvement across major review platforms
- Social Media Management: Content scheduling and optimization tied to each business location
- Competitive Visibility and Insights: Local search ranking data versus nearby competitors, giving SMB clients a clear view of where they stand in their market. The platform is sold as a subscription to multi-location SMBs that currently manage listings, reputation, and social media through separate, disconnected point solutions. The platform replaces that fragmented stack with a single tool that executes AI-driven tasks — rather than simply reporting on them.
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION MAKER(S)
- Customer type: Multi-location small and medium-sized businesses
- Target account size: $1M–$5M annual revenue; 2–5 locations
- Industry verticals: Med spas, medical offices (dentists and similar), restaurants, retail, and professional services
- Geographic location of customers: United States (national)
- Decision makers: Office Manager, Senior Leadership (VP/Director), Owner/C‑Suite — typically a single decision maker per deal
- Most deals involve one primary decision maker; multi‑location deals may involve additional stakeholders across a longer sales cycle
SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE
- Typical contract value: $1,788–$5,500 per contract (2–5 location accounts)
- Target account revenue: $1M–$5M annually
- Sales cycle: Varies by account type. Multi‑location SMB deals run no less than 3 months and require multiple stakeholder touchpoints. Single‑location SMB deals (dentists, med spas, etc.) can close on a shorter cycle
- Calls to first order: As few as 1 call for ideal single‑location account types; multi‑location deals require multiple touchpoints over the full cycle
- Decision makers per deal: Typically 1 primary decision maker; multi‑location deals may involve additional contacts
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES
- First AE in the US: You will be the first dedicated closing rep in the United States, with full ownership of the national territory and direct impact on how the US business is built
- Warm pipeline from day one: Two active BDRs are already generating and qualifying leads — you inherit a live, working top‑of‑funnel rather than building from scratch
- True all‑in‑one platform: The platform consolidates listings, reputation, and social media management into a single tool with AI execution — a genuine product differentiator versus competitors that offer point solutions or reporting‑only platforms
- Speed‑to‑value advantage: it is designed specifically for multi‑location SMBs who lack enterprise IT resources — faster to implement and easier to adopt than legacy enterprise platforms that require heavy onboarding and integrations
- Career advancement is built in: The company is actively building US leadership; the path from AE to Senior AE to Sales Manager is confirmed and expected within 1–2 years based on performance
- Lean, autonomous team: Low headcount means direct access to leadership, real ownership of your role, and no layers of bureaucracy between you and the decisions that affect your territory
TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
- Year 1 focus: 100% new business development. A typical day in this role looks like: - Receiving warm, BDR‑qualified leads and moving them through the closing cycle — discovery call, live online demo, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution
- Running online product demonstrations of the Jooice platform, positioning it as a direct replacement for the fragmented tools the prospect currently uses across listings, reputation, and social media
- Managing your active pipeline in HubSpot — keeping deal stages, activity logs, and forecasting data current and accurate
- Collaborating with the BDR team on lead handoff quality, messaging consistency, and pipeline coverage
- Opportunistically prospecting into target SMB verticals when BDR‑supplied volume requires supplementing — outbound outreach into med spas, dental offices, restaurants, and professional services firms
- Tracking and reporting on monthly KPIs including demos completed, deals closed, closing ratio, and revenue generated; participating in quarterly performance reviews with the hiring manager
LEADS
- The primary lead source for this role is warm, BDR‑qualified leads generated by the two in‑house BDRs, who handle cold outreach and qualification before handing off to you for closing.
- Approximately 75% of your pipeline is expected to come from BDR‑qualified leads. AI‑assisted tools are also used internally to re‑engage older leads and supplement BDR outreach.
- You may also opportunistically self‑source additional pipeline — estimated at approximately 25% of activity — when BDR volume is insufficient to fill your pipeline. Self‑sourcing is not a formally confirmed KPI for this role; it is treated as an additional earning opportunity.
OVERNIGHT TRAVEL
None required. Selling is conducted primarily by phone and video (online demos). In‑person client visits are not a standard requirement for this role. A valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle are required.
SUPPORT & TRAINING
Training is delivered and includes job shadowing, joint sales calls, and hands‑on coaching. CRM training is provided.
