Weekday is seeking an energetic remote closer for its AI-native recruiting platform. You’ll take meetings with founders and talent leads and drive them from initial discussion to a signed subscription, owning the deal from discovery to close.
You’ll diagnose hiring problems on calls, demonstrate how our database and outbound campaigns fill open roles, and push deals through pricing and procurement with a focus on revenue and timing.
This is an internal role at Weekday. Not a role by a client.
Weekday is an AI-native recruiting platform. We are backed by Y Combinator and Venture Highway (now General Catalyst). We have built the largest white-collar talent database in India and have built tools to run outbound recruiting campaigns to them.
Every week, founders and talent leads book time with us because hiring in India is broken for them. You take that meeting and you take it all the way to a signed subscription.
The pipeline is handed to you. The conversation is not. Thirty minutes with a founder is enough to either earn a customer or lose one, and the difference is almost always how well you understood their hiring problem before you started talking about ours. You’ll learn the product deeply enough to search live on a call, quote real candidate supply for their roles, and answer the hard question — “why can’t my recruiter just do this?” — without flinching.
This is a closing seat, not a coordinating one. You’ll be judged on revenue you brought in this month, and you’ll know exactly where you stand at all times. Some months that’s a great feeling. Some months it isn’t.
If you need a defined territory, a fixed script, and quarterly reviews to know how you’re doing, this will feel uncomfortable.
On any given day you might be:
You’ll be measured on whether deals closed — well, and on time. Not on activity.
