Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Sales Account Executive in Portland, OR to generate advertising revenue by calling on agencies, cold-calling prospects and persuading clients of TV advertising value.

You will implement revenue-growth strategies, establish relationships with local businesses, and manage both existing and new accounts. The role involves delivering compelling presentations, explaining ad rate options, and coordinating with station personnel to place ads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners and other office equipment.

Requirements & Skills:
