Job Summary
The Account Executive meets and exceeds local and national sales goals by selling Clear Channel inventory to qualified advertisers, developing new business through direct outreach and agency contacts.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive revenue goal attainment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships, communicating strategies for meeting customer needs.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including obtaining orders/ contracts for Clear Channel services while away from the office.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing all aspects of the customer's account in collaboration with creative, operations, marketing, and finance staff.
- Determine project pricing per management guidelines and negotiate fees/services with clients with approval.
- Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction and delivery of proof of performance.
- Accompany clients on market tours to showcase outdoor inventory.
- Coordinate with Ad Ops and other internal departments.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience (preferred).
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years sales experience (required); 5+ years sales experience (preferred).
- Demonstrated track record of business-to-business and progressive sales experience.
- Knowledge of territory preferred.
Skills
- Develop and cultivate client relationships to grow accounts.
- Experience in consultative or needs-based selling techniques.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.

Physical Demands

Other Requirements
- Travel outside office at least 50% of the time for meetings and events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
