Job summary

Boiling Point Media seeks an Account Executive to develop strong client relationships, coordinate projects, and prepare marketing reports and client pitches. The AE will drive business development and implement marketing strategies, managing new accounts and campaigns while engaging in prospective pitches.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience and a degree related to marketing. Strong communication, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills are expected.

Job description

Boiling Point Media is seeking an Account Executive to join our team. The Account Executive (AE) position is in charge of developing strong relationships with clients, handling project coordination for clients, preparing marketing reports and client pitch decks, business development, and implementing marketing strategies. The AE is responsible for managing new client accounts, client check ins, developing new campaigns and ideas as well as going on prospective client pitches. We are open to candidates with at least two years of professional experience and a degree or professional background in marketing. A candidate for this position should demonstrate knowledge of various marketing platforms and strategies, time management, leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
• Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new clients
• Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all client requests
• Act as the clients representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience
• Collect and analyze data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
• Attend local events to network and promote Boiling Point Media
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits (with your manager’s oversight)
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders and directors
• Prepare and present reports

Qualifications

• Minimum of two [2] years of account management experience, preferably within the advertising or marketing space
• Experience in traditional and digital mediums
• Must be able to demonstrate how to integrate with all types of teams (creative, digital, etc.)
• Must be able to showcase client care and handle client relationships as well as think strategically about their business
• Impeccable attention to detail and organization
• Possess a solid work ethic, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Possess strong collaboration skills and interpersonal skills
• University degree in any major relevant to strategic communications and marketing communications a plus
