Brown & Brown in Naples, FL, is seeking an Account Executive to lead client relationships for employee benefits programs in the Naples/Ft. Myers area.

You will design, implement, and manage benefit plans while partnering with clients and producers to align offerings with organizational goals. This role involves market research, data analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance, plus collaboration with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel.
• Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and resolving inquiries.
• Coordinate and manage client marketing efforts, renewals, and new business proposals.
• Oversee administration of employee benefits programs including enrollment and eligibility.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers and benefits providers to implement and operate plans.
• Conduct market research and data analysis to design competitive benefits packages.
• Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts.

Brown & Brown is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team in Naples, FL or Ft. Myers, FL!

Responsible for managing and overseeing employee benefits programs, ensuring that they meet the needs of both the organization and its employees. This role involves working closely with clients and producers to design, implement, and manage benefit plans, providing expert advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additional responsibilities include support for the sales & service teams using a variety of skills and knowledge of the insurance market, products, and competition. Provides a source of insurance expertise and strategic analysis to clients and prospects.

Client Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients to include developing and maintaining strong relationships by understanding their needs and goals. Address and resolve client inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and manage the marketing process for all clients in assigned book of business by preparing customer renewals and new business strategies, including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreements with customer requests and requirements.

Benefits Administration

• Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs by monitoring and managing the enrollment, eligibility, and service requests.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers and benefits providers to ensure smooth implementation and operation of benefit plans.

Plan Design And Data Analytics

• Conduct market research and analysis to recommend competitive benefits offerings. Assist in the design and customization of employee benefits packages to align with organizational goals and employee needs.
• Generate reports on benefits usage, trends, and costs to provide insights for decision-making when data is available. Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and identify areas for improvement.

Compliance And Regulation

• Ensure that all employee benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in benefits-related laws and regulations and adjust programs accordingly. This may include managing benefit audits and reporting requirements.

Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with benefits vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Florida Life & Health Insurance license (2-15) within 30 days of hire.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel.
• Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Travel may be required.

Preferred

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in a business or financial related discipline or experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional designation.
• Minimum typing speed of 40 to 50 words per minute.
• Agency Management System knowledge.
