Based in Downtown Los Angeles with a hybrid work setup, you will manage specialty retail accounts across the West Coast and present the brand’s seasonal collections on the road and at trade shows.
Ideal candidates are outgoing, self-motivated, and proficient at building long-term relationships while traveling frequently to markets and partner meetings.
Our client, a vibrant, effortlessly stylish contemporary women's fashion brand born from friendship and a shared love of travel, is looking for an Account Executive – West Coast to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role based in their Downtown Los Angeles office, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced opportunity to represent a brand beloved for its playful, effortless designs, working closely with a collaborative internal team to grow specialty retail accounts across the West Coast. The role centers on managing and deepening existing relationships while actively identifying and closing new business, and calls for someone who is naturally outgoing, polished, and comfortable being the face of the brand with retail partners. Travel is a core part of the job, including presenting each of the brand's four seasonal collections on the road and representing the line at trade shows.
Manage and grow a portfolio of specialty retail accounts throughout the West Coast, balancing existing relationships with new business development
Present seasonal collections to buyers in person, traveling for all four seasonal markets as well as the Bungalow tradeshow in Newport
Identify and prospect new specialty accounts to expand the brand's footprint in the territory
Collaborate closely with internal teams on inventory, merchandising, and sales strategy to support sell-through
Serve as a proactive, personable point of contact for retail partners, providing tailored service and timely follow-up
2-5 years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or a related retail/fashion role
An outgoing, self-motivated personality with the confidence to sell themselves as well as the product
A genuine passion for fashion and a forward-facing, relationship-driven approach to business
Strong organizational skills to manage reporting, sample logistics, and account details across a busy travel schedule
Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including for seasonal markets and trade shows
