Job summary

ClearFreight in Los Angeles is seeking an Account Executive to build new business, grow existing accounts, and deliver customized freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions.

You will present proposals, negotiate pricing, and work cross-functionally with operations and IT to provide exceptional customer experiences while expanding the client base across the US.

Qualifications

• Residence near one of ClearFreight's US offices (LA, SF, Seattle, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, NY).
• 4-5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or customs brokerage services.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven with a goal-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Introduce customers to ClearFreight's technology and visibility tools.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations with profitable pricing.
• Develop and grow portfolio of clients through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

Sales & Customer Solutions

• Introduce customers to ClearFreight\'s technology and visibility tools to enhance their supply chain experience.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations while negotiating competitive, profitable pricing.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve customer challenges and deliver timely, effective solutions.

Business Development

• Develop and grow your portfolio of clients through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
• Partner with the Marketing team to turn qualified leads into long-term customers.

Account Management

• Act as your customers\' advocate by working closely with Operations, IT, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Monitor accounts receivable and partner with customers to maintain healthy account performance.

Requirements

What You\'ll Bring

• Location: Candidates must reside near one of ClearFreight\'s US office locations, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, or New York
• Experience: You have 4-5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or customs brokerage services.
• Creative: You can identify customer challenges and develop solutions they may not have realized were possible.
• Engagement: You communicate effectively and bring strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Industrious: You\'re self-motivated, results-driven, and you wake up every day ready to achieve and exceed sales goals.

What you need

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with CRM systems and CargoWise is a plus.
• A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor\'s degree is preferred.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
