Job description

As an Account Executive supporting the Away From Home Team, you will manage customer relationships and deliver incremental sales and profit within multiple foodservice segments including K-12, College / University, Healthcare, Business & Industry, & Commercial accounts. This is a remote position and can be based in the greater Los Angeles area.

This position offers participation in the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.

A Taste of What You Will Be Doing
  1. Development and Execution of Business Plan: Oversee and create new business opportunities to enhance the Kellanova profile within the food service industry. Focus on void closures, white space opportunities, optimizing assortment, and upselling using a data-driven approach.
  2. Leading Sales Efforts: Strive to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations to foster loyalty, increase customer satisfaction, and drive growth.
  3. Conduct Business Reviews and Provide Solutions: Conduct reviews with top operators and distributors, providing solutions based on category management, consumer insights, industry trends, demographic data, and customer analysis.
  4. Customer Relationship Management: Use CRM tools to maintain accurate customer data, record all sales activities, and generate KPI reports to measure performance and identify trends.
  5. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and improve overall sales performance.
We're Looking for Someone With
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred experience in Food Service sales and account management
  • Ability to develop, present, and execute customer plans focusing on communication and account penetration
  • Understanding of market dynamics, forecasting, and financial acumen
  • Experience analyzing data (e.g., Nielsen / IRI)
  • Strong understanding of trade strategy, retail operations, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible work schedule and ability to travel overnight; travel requirements vary by residency location.
Compensation

The annual salary range is $83,200-$109,200, based on location, experience, and skills. Discretionary bonuses are also available based on performance.
