Hearst Television in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an energetic Account Executive to grow with an expanding team. You will build media and marketing solutions for advertising agencies and local businesses, reporting to the Local Sales Manager.

The role emphasizes prospecting, delivering multi-platform proposals, and achieving sales goals in a vibrant market. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in media/digital sales, strong negotiation skills, and a consultative, client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in media or digital sales or similar field.
• Experience developing new business/non-traditional business.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in a consultative customer-focused environment.
• Accountability within a goal-structured organization.
• Must be a team player.
• Experience selling to business owners.
• Understand and use qualitative research to support sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Produce revenue across all available platforms.
• Prospect, contact and present to new businesses.
• Develop revenue through local business development.
• Form strategic and market partnerships.
• Manage an active account/client list.
• Create and deliver sales proposals aligned with station strategies.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals as part of the sales team.
