Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking an energetic Account Executive to grow with Hearst Television. You will sell across multiple platforms to advertising agencies and local businesses, building lasting partnerships in a sunny market. Report to the Local Sales Manager and contribute to a dynamic sales team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in media/digital sales, strong negotiation, and a consultative client-centric approach. Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in media or digital sales or similar field.
• Experience developing new business/non-traditional revenue.
• Proven negotiation skills and consultative approach.
• Ability to work in a goal-driven team environment.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

• Produce revenue across all available platforms
• Prospect, contact and present to new businesses
• Develop new revenue through local business development
• Form strategic and market partnerships
• Manage an active account/client list
• Conceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals that are consistent with station strategies
• Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to our dynamic sales team

Requirements

• 1+ years in media or digital sales, or similar sales field
• Experience with the development of new business/non-traditional business
• Have strong negotiation skills
• Experience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphere
• Accountability within a goal-structured organization
• Must be a team player
• Experience selling to business owners
• Understand and use qualitative research to further sales effort
• Spanish Bilingual Preferred
• Related military experience will be considered
