Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an energetic Account Executive to grow with an amazing company. This role builds media and marketing solutions for advertising agencies and local businesses in a dynamic market, reporting to the Local Sales Manager.

We provide tools for powerful multi-platform marketing solutions to create lasting partnerships and grow our client base. Strong sales drive and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in media or digital sales or related field.
• Experience developing new business and non-traditional revenue.
• Strong negotiation skills and consultative selling approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet sales targets.
• Spanish bilingual would be advantageous.
• Experience selling to business owners and using qualitative research in sales.

Responsibilities

• Produce revenue across all available platforms.
• Prospect, contact and present to new businesses.
• Develop new revenue through local business development.
• Form strategic and market partnerships.
• Manage an active account/client list.
• Create and deliver sales proposals aligned with station strategies.

Requirements

• Have strong negotiation skills
• Experience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphere
• Accountability within a goal-structured organization
• Must be a team player
• Experience selling to business owners
• Understand and use qualitative research to further sales effort
• Spanish Bilingual Preferred
• Related military experience will be considered
