Waymark serves a diverse clientele, from small agencies to leading media enterprises, empowering them to create stunning, agency-quality video commercials.
About the role:

We’re looking for a self-motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join our growing sales team. They will take ownership of our inbound and team-level sales funnel, with the primary responsibility of converting qualified inbound leads and small to mid-market teams into customers. They’ll manage the full sales cycle from demo to close, driving new bookings and revenue. They’ll work closely with our Director of Sales on go-to-market messaging and sales strategies while focusing their efforts on execution, performance optimization, and revenue impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, is confident selling cutting-edge technology that is continuously evolving, and brings a consultative, curious approach to each conversation.

Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage and effectively convert a consistent stream of inbound leads generated through our website and strategic partner channels. This includes promptly responding to inquiries, thoroughly assessing prospect needs, and prioritizing opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of outbound and upsell opportunities for small to medium team-level deals.
  • Conduct engaging discovery calls and comprehensive product demonstrations via Zoom. Skillfully probe prospects to understand their business challenges, articulate the value proposition of Waymark, and tailor demonstrations to address their specific requirements and pain points.
  • Develop customized proposals that clearly outline the proposed solution, address the prospect's objectives, and articulate the return on investment. Expertly guide prospects through each stage of the buying process, building rapport, addressing concerns, and fostering a strong sense of partnership.
  • Employ effective sales strategies, negotiation techniques, and closing skills to convert qualified prospects into satisfied customers, contributing directly to the company's growth and success.
  • Consistently close new business opportunities and achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to share insights from the field.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on sales experience, preferably in a full-cycle closing role in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  • Proven experience in closing deals and revenue generation, comfortable running demos and tailoring pitches based on customer needs
  • Strong communicator — clear, thoughtful, and concise in writing and speaking
  • Excellent execution skills—you get things done quickly, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
  • Confident using sales tools (CRM, Zoom, email automation, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and accountable — able to thrive with autonomy
  • Experience working in a startup or small-team environment is a major plus.
  • Bonus: Knowledge or passion for video advertising, creative tools, or ad tech.
