Position Summary

The Account Executive will be responsible for the growth in profitability of an assigned sales territory. Responsible for prospecting, conducting effective sales presentations, closing, and servicing clients to achieve or exceed sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction with Mainline.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Prospect, acquire, service, and retain high-quality clients.
  2. Sell Mainline Technology Solution Partner server, software, and storage solutions in the designated territory from a remote office.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customer personnel, including senior management, and Technology Solution Partner personnel.
  4. Develop and implement strategies for effective competition within the client base and industry verticals using all Mainline resources.
  5. Engage Mainline Services personnel as needed to meet sales and service objectives.
  6. Promote a positive team environment throughout the company.
  7. Secure signed agreements and necessary paperwork from clients for purchases.
  8. Ensure all client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted timely, with periodic audits.
  9. Provide timely and accurate reports on sales results as required by management.
  10. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when assigned additional responsibilities or projects.
  11. Travel as required, including air travel.
Education And/or Experience
  1. Minimum 5 years of successful outside/direct sales experience, preferably in a Mainline-focused Technology Solution Partner environment.
  2. Experience in sales and account management within the specific geography/territory is preferred, with established customer relationships being a plus.
  3. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business or Information Technology disciplines.
  4. Relevant Technology Solution Partner Certifications are desirable.
Environmental Factors And Physical Requirements
  1. Work typically occurs in a business or home office environment.
  2. Requires use of general office and personal computer equipment.
  3. Travel may include auto and air travel, occasionally.
  4. May require irregular schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, or overtime.
