Account Executive
Responsibilities
- Develops and sustains relationships with broker principals, senior sales leadership (RVPs, Regional Managers, Sales Coordinators) and executive MMP leadership. Supports ongoing agent onboarding as well as facilitates and supports ongoing product training and positioning. Takes the lead in addressing, resolving and tracing root cause for all inquiries regarding claims, eligibility, billing, product questions, renewals, selling additional products and reporting. Maintains documentation of account activity.
- Works with broker partners and company Third Party Administration (TPA) to manage enrollment of all new clients. Coordinates any Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/Application Programming Interface (API) or other file transmission activities. Coordinates with other necessary partners - TPA, broker partner, bank, technology organizations, etc. Manages the successful initial and ongoing commission payments, claims, customer service, premium collection/application, as well as any other issues raised by broker partner or their customers.
- Provides reports to broker accounts providing periodic summaries and updates to management. Includes sales, placement, persistency, agent debit balance issues. Maintains and reports results of all active campaigns. Monitors and communicates premium payment issues to producer/client/management. Facilitates quarterly updates / meetings / results communication with key broker relationships and large agent producers.
- Acts as Operations liaison on new broker acquisition and implementation into the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or related field. Equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree.
2 years of experience in health insurance account management or client relationship management, preferably with specialty/supplemental products.
- Professional Certification(s)
Accident, Health, and Life License with applicable State Department of Insurance preferred.
Any applicable insurance license required for doing business in assigned states.
- Technical Skills and Knowledge
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with and present to various levels of staff and management.
Intermediate computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook; ability to quickly learn new systems/processes.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task; manage and prioritize multiple client needs.
Good analytical skills. Ability to interpret data and apply to daily operations.
Knowledge of health, life, home health care, and indemnity insurance individual and senior market products.
Senior Account Executive

Coordinates with other necessary partners - TPA, broker partner, bank, technology organizations, etc. Manages the successful initial and ongoing commission payments, claims, customer service, premium collection/application, as well as any other issues raised by broker partner or their customers.
