Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a results-driven Pest Management Sales professional to grow commercial accounts in the Texas region. You will call on hospitality, healthcare, retail and other market segments, inspect sites, and propose pest control solutions.

A strong focus on cold calling, lead generation, and networking will drive territory growth. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sell the company’s pest management services and products to new and existing commercial customers
• Maintain customer-focused service to grow the business
• Call on hospitality, food and beverage processing, healthcare, retail, and other market segments
• Complete comprehensive training on pest management services and products
• Inspect and identify infestations or potential infestations involving organisms, insects, birds, and other pests
• Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross-selling
• Visually inspect commercial buildings for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on assessment findings
• Craft territory development strategies to exceed sales targets
• Maintain knowledge of programs, protocols, pricing policies, and service offerings
• Build partnerships and collaborate with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and deliver outstanding service solutions
• Complete daily activities and sales performance tracking using the company sales CRM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license from your current state of residence
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills
• Preferred two years of experience in Business to Business sales
• Prospecting skills, including cold calling, lead generation, and networking, preferred
• Self-motivated hunter’s mentality with ability to work independently
• Ability to obtain required industry licenses; licenses will be provided and paid for by the company
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territory(s)
• Ability to regularly move up to 10 lbs. and frequently move 11–20 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and navigating stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Comfort working around pests and entering basements, crawl spaces, attics, and other small spaces
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Ability to work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways
