Job summary

Synergy Fiber is seeking an Account Executive to support business development, customer relationship management, sales operations, proposal development, and project coordination across our growing portfolio of solutions.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers exposure to sales, operations, and customer success within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales process from initial opportunity through contract execution.
  • Assist with prospecting activities, lead generation, and customer follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers, property owners, management companies, developers, contractors, and other business partners.
  • Coordinate customer meetings, site visits, and project discovery efforts.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, scopes of work, and customer presentations.
  • Follow up with customers regarding open opportunities, outstanding proposals, and pending decisions.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity records, forecasts, and sales pipeline information within company systems.
  • Participate in customer meetings and calls while representing Synergy Fiber in a professional manner.
  • Act as a customer advocate by coordinating resources and helping resolve issues throughout the sales process.
  • Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining project job costs.
  • Review pricing, budgets, and project costs for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to obtain pricing and scope information.
  • Prepare quote comparisons, purchasing evaluations, and budget summaries.
  • Support proposal development, contract preparation, and change order management.
  • Ensure project records and supporting documentation remain organized and current.
  • Coordinate activities between customers, vendors, project managers, engineers, and leadership.
  • Help ensure project action items and customer requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project milestones, outstanding deliverables, and customer commitments.
  • Assist with order processing, project onboarding, and documentation management.
  • Proactively follow up on contracts, agreements, approvals, and signatures.
  • Support successful transitions between sales, project implementation, and ongoing customer support.
  • Maintain accurate records within company systems.
  • Track customer communications, project updates, proposals, and follow-up activities.
  • Create and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Assist leadership with business analysis, forecasting, reporting, and data management.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve internal processes and operational efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication.
  • Assist with overflow customer inquiries when necessary.
  • Support internal teams with customer issue resolution and follow-up.
  • Participate in after-hours or weekend customer support rotations when required.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with customers, vendors, project managers, engineers, and company leadership while gaining exposure to sales, business development, operations, project management, and customer success. Sales & Business Development
