Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on equipment engineering in manufacturing (thin film, semiconductor, vacuum systems).
• Strong experience with high-vacuum, sputtering or PVD equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and improve uptime.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex equipment failures on sputtering and high‑vacuum systems.
• Take ownership of equipment performance and drive immediate and long‑term reliability improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance, component replacement, system rebuilds, and adjustments as required.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement durable corrective actions.
• Plan upgrades and continuous improvements to increase uptime and process stability.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to align equipment capability with production needs.
• Maintain spare parts strategy and support safety and compliance programs.
