Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Specialist to support program delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure KPI achievement across multiple pharma projects. You will manage timelines, onboarding, and documentation while collaborating with leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered with NJ Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Must complete ASPN Pharmacies New Jersey Policies and Procedures: Assessment
  • Remote workers must be registered as Pharmacy Technician with home state board and office state board
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 5+ years of relatable pharmaceutical experience
  • 1–2 years in account management, customer service, or sales

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational aspects of assigned programs
  • Lead and execute operational meetings
  • Develop project goals and timelines
  • Assist with executing new programs for pharmacy and pharmaceutical manufacturer customers
  • Assist with end-to-end operational management procedures
  • Onboard new pharmacy members for assigned projects
  • Manage assigned project and task deadlines
  • Collaborate with leadership on assigned programs
  • Lead and support data touch point meetings and trackers
  • Track approved data component changes within manufacturer and pharmacy partner agreements
  • Assist with pharmacy partner IT security reviews and coordinate responses with technology, security, and compliance resources
  • Assist with business reviews, reporting, and agendas
  • Create and maintain business rules for assigned programs
  • Review trending data for quality and compliance
  • Review client dashboards to ensure KPIs are met
  • Profile pharmacies for inclusion in select programs
  • Coordinate deliverables for manufacturer partners with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and update program trackers
  • Adhere to physical, administrative, and technical safeguards
  • Comply with company policies, HIPAA, and applicable procedures
  • Maintain attendance, schedule adherence, professional demeanor, and accountability
  • Work outside core business hours when required
  • Travel when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • New Jersey Office ONLY: Must be registered with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Must successfully complete the ASPN Pharmacies New Jersey Policies and Procedures: Assessment
  • Nevada Office ONLY: Must have Nevada Pharmacy Technician License
  • Arizona Office ONLY: Pharmacy Technician License (requires national certification by PTCB or ExCPT), or Technician Trainee License issued by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy
  • Pennsylvania Office ONLY: Must have Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License
  • Remote Workers: Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with both their home state Board of Pharmacy and the Board of Pharmacy in the state where their assigned office is located
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 5+ yrs. relatable experience in the pharmaceutical/pharmacy experience required
  • 1–2 years of experience in a related role like account management, customer service, or sales is required
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Access
  • Professional demeanor and courteous attitude at all levels
  • Reliable and consistent attendance and schedule adherence required
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent practical experience preferred
