Job summary

Chase is seeking an Account-based payments network strategy and advocacy lead to shape multi-year strategies across account-based payment networks and rails, representing the firm in external governance and standards forums while aligning priorities with product, control functions and business partners.

You will lead a team, develop advocacy positions on topics such as pay by bank, ACH modernization, open banking, fraud mitigation, and risk management, and deliver executive-level recommendations

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in payments, strategy, or related fields.
• Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and governance.
• Ability to translate input into actionable priorities for senior leadership.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year strategies across account-based payment networks and rails.
• Lead enterprise engagement with payment networks and rails across products and lines of business.
• Drive governance and operating cadence for the payments network strategy program.
• Build strategic relationships with networks, fintech partners, and industry bodies.
• Represent the firm in industry governance forums and standards-setting organizations.
• Develop advocacy positions on topics like pay by bank, ACH modernization, open banking, fraud mitigation.
• Influence network rules and industry standards through engagement with regulators and peers.
• Partner with product, technology, operations, legal, and risk to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Lead a team responsible for strategic analysis, governance, and execution.
• Prepare executive-level recommendations and decision materials for senior leadership.
• Monitor market and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
