Job description

RFHIC US Corporation designs and manufactures RF amplifiers and modules, primarily for Radar, Wideband, Wireless infrastructure, Satellite, Broadcasting, and CATV

RFHIC US Corporation is an ITAR-registered and ISO9001-certified company. We support customers globally across various industries, including telecom, defense/aerospace, semiconductor, food processing, medical device, clean energy, and many more.

We have openings for Account Associate in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.

The following will help you understand what it is like to work with RFHIC team members.
  • We believe that power should lie in the reasoning, not in the position, of the individual.
  • Flexibility in playing different roles is demanded. We are looking for Account Associate who is excited to wear different hats.
  • We do not wait for the resources to show up to solve the problem. We are willing to become the resource.
  • Goal-oriented flexible hours are good. Flexibility should also work for an individual’s personal needs as well. But our pursuit of excellence eliminates any misuse of this concept.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Account Associate.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing (by telephone, fax, or email) RFQs (Requests For Quotations), POs (Purchase Orders), and LTs (Lead Time) from customers. Support customers and sales representatives. Coordinates with other departments within RFHIC US Corporation to handle purchase orders and provide products/services to customers. Performs duties with the sales/marketing department, where managing customer relationships is a prime responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Receives and processes customer requests by email and phone for quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations. Prepares accurate quotations promptly and provides responsive customer service.
  • Obtains and verifies customer and order information, including pricing, lead times, inventory availability, and order status. Works with Sales, Technical, Engineering, Production, and Accounting teams to address customer requirements.
  • Processes and monitors customer orders from purchase order receipt through shipment and delivery. Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned orders, providing status updates and resolving scheduling or delivery issues with internal teams.
  • Follows up on customer inquiries and works with production control and expediting teams to monitor order progress, confirm delivery schedules, and communicate changes.
  • Maintains accurate records and databases for customer orders, inventory, logistics, and shipment activities to support daily operations.
  • Maintains active order files and documents order changes, scheduling adjustments, partial shipments, and credit updates. Prepares purchase orders, invoices, and return documentation required for customer credits, debits, and other financial adjustments.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships by responding to inquiries, resolving order discrepancies, and working with internal teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Supports government and military orders, including export license applications, end-user statements, and other required export compliance documentation.
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound logistics, including shipment arrangements, carrier communication, tracking, and shipping documentation to support on‑time delivery.
  • Works with the Credit Department to verify customer credit status and payment requirements, particularly for rush orders or orders exceeding established credit limits.
  • Manages return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), product evaluations, and repair shipments with customers and internal technical teams. Tracks repair progress and communicates inspection results and status updates to customers.
  • Supports pricing and commercial activities by processing special pricing requests, verifying approved pricing, and ensuring quotations and order documentation reflect applicable pricing and terms.
  • Limited Travel Required (10%+).
Skills Required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to coordinate orders, resolve issues, and meet customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and product information quickly.
