Job summary

TYG, a nationally recognized forensic engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Accident Reconstruction Expert to join its growing team in the United States. As a senior member, you will lead high-profile investigations from evidence collection through expert testimony, collaborating with attorneys, insurers, and clients.

You will mentor junior engineers, prepare detailed reports, perform reconstruction modeling, and present deposition testimony.

Qualifications

• Strong background in accident reconstruction and forensic engineering.
• Experience acting as an expert witness in depositions and/or trial.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex motor vehicle accident reconstruction investigations.
• Conducting scene inspections, vehicle examinations, and evidence analysis.
• Performing engineering calculations and reconstruction modeling.
• Preparing detailed technical reports and expert opinions.
• Providing deposition and courtroom testimony.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

The Role

As a senior member of the team, you will lead high profile accident reconstruction investigations from initial evidence collection through to expert testimony. You'll work closely with attorneys, insurers, and corporate clients while collaborating with other experienced forensic professionals on technically challenging cases.
