Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories seeks a non-CDL distribution driver based at the Mt. Airy, NC DC. The role ensures safe delivery of truck accessories across the region, with emphasis on accurate records and strong customer service.
Reports to the DC Manager and requires travel within the region. The position requires high school diploma, prior delivery experience, knowledge of safety rules, and the ability to work independently or with the team.
Established in the Blue Ridge foothills of North Carolina in 1963, Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories is a manufacturer and distributor whose product lines include storage buildings, cargo and utility trailers, truck covers, truck and van accessories, carports, playhouses, chicken coops, and dog houses. We serve our residential, commercial, fleet, and government customers through our 150+ retail store locations in eighteen states, supported by our corporate offices (in Mount Airy, NC, and Cobden, IL), distribution centers, and strategically located manufacturing facilities.
The Accessory Distribution Non-CDL Driver position is based at the Leonard Mt. Airy, NC Distribution Center (DC), with operations in the U.S., and has overall responsibility for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of truck accessories, collaborating with the distribution team to ensure accurate inventory control and providing exceptional customer service without the requirement of a Commercial Driver's License. This position reports directly to the Distribution Center Manager and does not have direct reports.
