Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories (Randa Corp) is seeking an Accessory Designer to join a creative team focused on belts and small leather goods. You will collaborate with sales, merchandising, and licensed brand partners to craft innovative collections aligned with seasonal direction.

The role demands trend research, strong design aesthetics, and leadership on major initiatives under the design director. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote, with portfolio submission required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or equivalent degree/experience
• 3-5 years of design experience in a fashion design or industrial design field
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25% - 30%).
• Experience with PLM systems is a plus
• 3-D software/printing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of raw materials, sourcing, and target costs

Responsibilities

• Maintains awareness of current design trends and competitor research
• Ensure on-time delivery of fully realized collections meeting seasonal direction
• Lead in material, construction, and hardware development and innovation
• Manage brand relationships with licensor partners
• Collaborates with licensors, merchandising, and design team and communicates ideas internally
• Guides development from research to technical development to market presentation
• Designs trend boards and collateral for internal and external stakeholders
• Creates detailed technical drawings and specs for factory partners
• Coordinates tech packs, sample requests, PLM processes, and overseas factory communications
• Mentor and train designers in technical skills and category knowledge
• Meet goals with attention to detail and manage design calendar deadlines
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
