Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories is seeking an Accessory Designer to join a creative team focused on belts and small leather goods. You will collaborate with sales, merchandising, and licensed brand partners to craft trend-right collections under the design director.

Responsibilities include trend research, aesthetic design, and leading initiatives for the AOR brand. The role requires 3–5 years in fashion or industrial design, proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or equivalent degree/experience.
• 3–5 years of design experience in a fashion design or industrial design field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Well‑versed in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25%–30%).
• Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
• 3‑D software/printing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of raw materials and cost-aware designing.
• Able to lift and unpack product boxes.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with design trends and competitive research.
• Ensure on-time delivery of collections aligned with seasonal direction.
• Lead material, construction, and hardware development and innovation.
• Manage brand relationships with licensor partners.
• Collaborate with licensors, merchandising, and design teams, and present ideas.
• Guide development from research through technical development to market.
• Create trend boards and collateral for internal and partner presentations.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and specs for factories.
• Oversee PLM processes, tech packs, and overseas communications.
• Mentor designers in technical skills and category knowledge.
• Track progress, manage design calendar deadlines, and handle miscellaneous duties.
